So San Jose and the Bay Area have all been experiencing a bit of wind and rain lately. We've had a couple of storm systems move through with one having Wellington like winds. Sure some trees fell over, and there was some flooding, but to me it was how winter was supposed to be... :) This also brought massive dumps of snow to the mountain ranges, with about three metres falling over the course of a couple of days. Hopefully it will still be all there and nice and fluffy when I head up to the slopes in February.
With all the rain, this part of California will return to green, as for most of the year, it's a parched brown colour. So it will once again remind me of green hillside pasture...
