Open Letter to US Banks: I want easy inter-bank electronic transfers

Dear US Banks,

Please adopt something that makes bank transfers easy to do between people. E.g. please allow easy inter-bank electronic transfers. I'm not talking about wiring money between countries, just allowing people to easily pay their friends back, pay their rent, etc., all without the need to cut down trees to make checks (a.k.a cheques), and spending money on postage. The tiny nation of New Zealand does it, why can't you?

Sincerely,

S

I'm going to miss the bubble

Dear Real Life,

I know the sharp edges you bring are going to come and pop my Stanford bubble very soon. Two years has been enough to give me stress followed by elation, becoming something like an addictive drug. The roller-coaster ride it has brought has not been dull - I have wrestled and conquered it.

Real Life, you have some expectations to live up to.

Cheers,

S

P.S. Stanford you were a wonderful experience - I salute you.
