The other week I was accepted by a prestigious Californian University to continue my postgraduate education. Yesterday I formally accepted the offer and made it official, I will be going there in September! I'm quite excited really, and am thrilled with the prospect of living up to the standards expected (well that I expect anyway) of being one of its resident graduate students.
Of course there is the slight issue of balancing finances, however hopefully I will be able to secure some funding by working for some of the faculty (so a prayer or two would be nice), which would greatly reduce any stresses I might have. But, with or without this funding, I most probably will not be going home anytime soon :/ - boo
